Ranger: Built Ford Tough
Built Ford Tough
Ford Motor Corporation has a long, vivid history with its
dependable line of trucks. The Ford Ranger falls in line with
this proud heritage as another one of its "Tough-Trucks". The
uniqueness of its rough and tough exterior with a comfortable
interior makes the Ford Ranger a winner for truck enthusiasts
who love the athleticism, superb function and durability.
Standard Features
The Ford Ranger has such an amazing set of standard features
that truly sets the standard for trucks. The interior is as
comfortable as the exterior is sturdy and strong. The seats are
likened to those of a sedan. Such features as the power
windows, power side mirrors, central locking system, engine
immobilizer and remote keyless entry make everyday usage a
snap.
Other useful and stylish features of the Ranger are the slick
instrument panel, short throw gearshift, and two 12 volt
sockets. Whether you are on the road for pleasure or for
business, the Ford Ranger delivers superb performance.
Ford Models Aplenty
Dependent upon your needs, there is a Ford Ranger model to suit
them. The cab style either comes in Single, Super or Crew. The
body style has either the Pick-Up or Cab Chassis choices with
either the 4 x 4 or 4 x 2 option. Two types of engines that are
offered are the 2.5L and a 3.0L Turbo Diesel. Not to mention,
there is an assortment of interior features that can be added
as well. The Ford Ranger is a genuine truck to match its
genuine drivers.
Super Cab and 4-door Dual Rear Access System
This extraordinary feature assists its driver in numerous ways.
The rear passenger doors are hinged at the back of the vehicle
so they open the opposite way toward the front doors. When all
four doors are opened, there is nothing in your way when
loading heavy or large cargo. It saves time and energy.
Moreover, this concept facilitates passenger entrance and exit
as well.
Diesel Myths Busted
New technologies have enabled the once noisy and dirty diesel
engines to take on a whole new positive light. For instance,
fuel control has become computerised so that visible emissions
have decreased. Another complaint that diesel engines are
particularly noisy has also been changed so that newer diesel
engines are quieter. Electronic fuel management decreased the
foul sulphur smell by using low sulphur diesel fuel. Another
reason diesel engines are used to a bad reputation is their
slow starts. Once again, this myth is busted because
intercooled engines used in the Ranger actually develop more
torque in a low rev range than its petrol competitors.
